If you have to stop and think about it for more than a few seconds, just say “uncle” it isn’t who you think it is…
Even more humbling, if you didn’t think of this BEFORE you created your website, much of your web site is a written in a foreign language that your #1 visitor can’t read very well. Your site may have cost a bundle and have silky smooth graphics and all the bells and whistles but if you haven’t thought of your #1 visitor at inception, your site is pretty much irrelevant. Sorry, to have to give you the bad news.
The good news is that 95% of your competition messed up too. Once you learn who the real “boss” is online, you can make adjustments and leap ahead of what you used to call your competition and dominate your market. Yeah, I said dominate, not simply be another chump in the “peanut gallery” of law practice marketplace.
Your biggest and most important visitor to your site is GOOGLE and if you treat Mr. Google right, he will gladly share some of his billion or so friends with you. Just don’t tick Mr. Google off or give him a website he can’t read or figure out.
